Camporee

I'm rewinding time a little bit and blogging about the Camporee which was the third weekend in February. For over 30 years my Dad has been the Camporee chairman for the Boy Scouts in the Birmingham area. It's a huge task and he does a fabulous job! This year it was at Tannehill State Park and there were over 800 boys, adults and parents that participated! The Wolbach family is very involved in putting on the event and serve as part of the staff. I was thrilled for Anna Leigh to go to her first Camporee!! We had beautiful weather...Sunny and 60 with is amazing for February!!

My cousin Mackenzie got to meet Anna Leigh for the first time. Mackeznie was in a serious bus accident on the day we brought Anna Leigh home from the hospital. The bus was hit by a drunk driver at 11 AM on I-85 in Atlanta and shut the whole interstate down for 3 hours. She was in critical condition for several weeks, had several surgeries and lots of physical therapy. It was a very scary time for all of us. She has recovered wonderfully and quicky and has even started to walk again! So many answered prayers. We love you Mackenzie!!
